I’m excited to serve as the 8th Grade Assistant Principal! This is my third year at CMS and my ninth year in education.
As a proud graduate of Burns High School and UNC-Chapel Hill, I began my teaching career in Cleveland County Schools. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various roles, from teaching 8th grade Social Studies to 6th grade Math. I also hold a Master’s degree in School Administration from UNC-Charlotte.
I’m passionate about doing what’s best for our students and staff. I am fully committed to supporting our school community and making sure our school is a place where all students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed. Go Dragons!
I am honored to serve as one of your assistant principals here at Crest Middle School. I have worked in education as a math teacher, band director and as an administrator for almost 20 years, and I am excited to begin my 4th year at CMS working with the best students and faculty in Cleveland County.
I am a proud graduate of Appalachian State University and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education in Indianapolis, IN.
My goal as your assistant principal is to support our students, staff, and families through good communication, positive collaboration, and a strong commitment to our student’s educational success.
